Does God Expect Us To Obey His Word Unconditionally?
And Should We Expect God's To Love Us Unconditionally?
God already set you free unconditionally,
You could not Obey His Word Unconditionally?
So feel better now
God is fair enough. He has given us a sound mind that reasons perfectly. You know right from wrong by virtue of the Holy Spirit's presence in your life. He is your silent teacher. If God created you, what right do you have to question Him? And yet He gently nudges you with the words "Come, let us reason together". Don't you think this considerate stand between master and subject connotes mercy on mankind? He already stooped too low by becoming man to come negotiating with you through His Son Jesus. Should a parent stoop to a child's whims? When He adopts a "matter of fact" perspective, He knows better and hence we must oblige unconditionally. Yet still He wants to reason with you first. I rest my case.
Yes he wants us to obey His every word to the fullest God doesn't go back on his word. What he says he means and that's what he expect of us to do what he says etc
