When do you think that tradition is important, and when is it time for change?
I think tradition is important when it is the right thing to do. I do not believe in doing that which we feel unhappy about simply because it has been our tradition. For example: Your great, great grandfather was a fireman - your great grandfather was a fireman - your grandfather was a fireman - your father was a fireman. Now it is expected that you will follow family tradition & become a fireman. However; you want to be a cop! Well, now is the time for growth, change, and starting a new family tradition. You would probably have problems with your family at first, but eventually they will see you are a good cop and be proud of you for that. You must choose that which makes you happy, not that which pleases your family.
