im new to hubpages.my question- is there any must that i should be vegetarian if i wear a rudraksh?
i got a 5 mukhi rudraksh.i worn it once.but i never follow the proper way to wear it.
give blessings and all that.so i feel very bad and now i keep it in my pooja room.
can u explain me about this 5 mukhi rudraksh?things that i should do and shouldn't do when i wear it?
I am wearing a Rudraksh for almost 20 years now.
I used to have non vegetarian food.
If you go deep into Hindu religious values and Cultures you can find that eating non vegetarian was a part of life of all Hindus during the Vedic age. They used to eat the sacrifices they put in form of Horse , bulls etc.,
But it all depends from person to person and community to community. Since Hinduism has come of ages, there is a huge lots of perceptions.
If you are a non vegetarian eater, there is no harm in wearing a Rudraksh. May be if u have a bigger mala of number of Rudraksh, please remove it before you eat non veg.
