Can you please translate the phrase "If it were not for hope, the heart would break" thanks!! Crysta
The heart is the seat of desire, when there is a desire birth in the heart, now hope comes in and cherishes that desire looking forward to it's fulfillment.
This makes the heart glad, but when the hope is crushed, then the heart becomes broken and sad, unwilling to birth anymore desires.
