Should we let the offenses and sins of others stop us from receiving Jesus?
We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Will we choose to see the good of God regardless of imperfect man? Can you see that Jesus is God's love proven to save us, Jesus loved us first. You will know them by there love. Maybe all of us need to study about God's love so we know the power of His love, so we can show it instead of our sins and mistakes. Don't let someone else's mistakes stop you from excepting his love. GOD LOVES YOU NOT HATES YOU- LOVE WILL SAVE YOU!
Judge-mental hmm... No!
Some people won't even except Jesus as their Lord because someone that claimed to be a Christian showed hate towards them. A lot of people say the reason they don't seek God is because of how they were treated by so-called believers. So I am trying to let people know that even if someone protrayed Jesus to them in an un-loving way not to let them stop them from having a relationship with God through His son Jesus Christ.
Yes for sure you, me and the rest of us have sinned and sin separates us from God. The only way are sins our erased and cleansed only by Jesus. So even if we have messed up- no matter how bad- Jesus can save us. God loves us all and sent Jesus for us all because we all need to be redeemed.
YES, there are people out there that are just looking at the mistakes of us Christians make but our love as God said we're to have for all people must show more than our failures/ sins/ mistakes we make- They must be able to see the love of our Saviour.
It is a sin that must be repented of when we have pushed people away with the hatred some have displayed wrongfully.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Rom 3;23
There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.> Ecc 7:20
5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” 6 Now some of the experts in the law were sitting there, turning these things over in their minds: 7 “Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8 Now immediately, when Jesus realized in his spirit that they were contemplating such thoughts, he said to them, “Why are you thinking such things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up, take your stretcher, and walk’?
Matt 2:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.>John 1:9
Proverbs 28:13 He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.> Titus 2;14
To address the fact God works through people is true and not sure why you stated this at all in response to this question Lady Guinevere. God bless you and your understanding in JESUS name!
While we were yet in sin Jesus loved us!
Also some people tell others God hates them & it angers me because it's not true!

The true answer to this is in The Lord's Prayer: "And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us."
NO do not allow anyone to rob you of the joy, peace, freedom, love and MOST important salvation that comes in knowing Jesus Christ. This is not about religion. It is about a personal relationship with Jesus CHrist saviour of the World. In Jesus we are saved from eternal hell. When we invite Jesus into our hearts, repent of our sin and confess with our mouth Jesus is Lord and Saviour, son of God who Died on the cross for all sin, we will be saved. Jonh 3:16
None are without sin, we live in a fallen world. You will change from the inside out in knowing Christ. He is a best friend and is for you, not against you. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. He can work on your friend and Jesus can work through you. Your friend may like what he/she sees. If this one can not accept your Love for Jesus (Love grows) I wonder what sort of friend this could be? Are they really a friend if they do not want abundant life for you. They do not know. Jesus gives us peace. He never lies. He is the only guarentee in life. Even those with best intentions can let you down. People change. God does not. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
In this fallen World we need Jesus more then ever to work out our dilemmas, our situations, fix our broken hearts, heal wounds, heal sickness, fix our broken homes, help our bank accounts, find us work, watch over our children and parents on and on the list goes. He loves to give His children gifts. What Father does not? Who would not want this? No one can steal your joy unless you hand it over. Nothing can seperate you from the love of God. I do not care where you are. No one can rob your love of Jesus.
In the World it will not get better. In knowing Jesus Christ you will get better. He loves us ALL. He wants none to perish. There is a Heaven and a Hell. We have a choice who will we serve the enemy, or the Lord Jesus. Choose Jesus He is the way, truth and life.
May you be Blessed. If you know Him not, try Him. You will be so happy you took the leap of Faith for the one that died for your sins and mine. It does not mean we will be perfect it means we get better because Jesus loved us first. He knows we will blow it. He will help to pick us up and carry us when we stumble or fall or can not get up. Jesus is Love. Everyone needs Love. Love Never Fails. In His Name Jesus Christ. Hugs Galore to you. Romans 10: 9-10
Mar 5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
Mar 5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
All the devils in hell cannot stop one from gaining salvation. Offenses mean nothing when compared to eternal life with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Holding grudges hurts no one except the one holding the grudge. It will eat away at you until it consumes your life completely.
Mar 5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
Mar 5:9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

Absolutely Not. Having a relationshbip with Jesus Christ is the most important thing you will ever do in your life. I will promise you that it will be the absolute most exciting thing you will ever do. I asked Jesus into my heart at age 7 and now what gives me this excitement is seein others come to Jesus as their Savior. Don't ever let anything that someone else does deter you from making the right decisions in life. They will answer for themselves. You will answser for yourself.

What do you make of John 20:19-23?Most particularly I was working on a sermon on this and this line hit me in a new light, like a ton of bricks: 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”My thoughts are that man can forgive...
