By being love being peace being free. This is who every single human being is to the core of their being. Just be it. The world will then automatically be saved from ending. Results of this will be heaven on earth with peace and goodwill for humanity. Straight and simple answer to save the world from ending. Just be it.

Don't focus on something that won't be happening.  Instead focus on what you do right now and day to day to clean it up around you.  If everyone cleaned up their immediate surroundings this world would be a better place.  Stop war which destroys not only people but the earth and the environment and all that live in that area.  Not only does it destroy people but animals, foilage, insects and other eco-systems that depend on each other.  Military does not see this, they only see war and destruction of people,  They don't care what they trample on.

Download the pdf hosted at the link below and build the vertical axis - accelerated air - wind turbine system (patent free - free download) that it describes in detail.

If you haven't got the technical expertise/skills to develop/build this system then email the pdf to someone who has.

Sustainable: non-polluting, sources of energy are only part of the answer I know; but we have to start somewhere.

we need to stop being like sheep and start to have faith in each other. we seem to have this need to either think our governments or god is going to save us and it's rediculous. no one or no thing is going to save us, only we can do that. having faith in our government or in some god is what has put us in the position we are now in and look how that's working out. i get a kick out of religious believers who seem to think that we have to face destruction so jesus can return or that earth isn't what we are about but rather heaven is where we should want to go. that's nothing short of crazy and that's a fact.

Stop driving your car everywhere. Europe and Britain are much better at this than Northern America purely because we've got better public transport. But yes, don't fly unless you have to, don't take the car if you can do your shopping on foot.

nothing - the world isn't ending, atleast anytime in the next BILLION or so years.

conditions on earth for HUMANS, otoh, may get worse with wars, famines, global climate change, nuclear proliferation.

the US was once in the forefront of working to better living conditions for all; now the US is a pariah for bush's BREAKING treaties on arms control, ignoring the geneva conventions, agressively invading and bombing other countries, etc.  while the rest of the world is finding ways to act on climate change, many americans refuse to even admit it's happening.

in the US we're wasting our talented youth by funneling them into financialzation and other parasitic but profitable ventures, instead of training them to do research that might actually produce a better world.
