A nonspatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.

I've always considered it as the fourth dimension o.0

Time is measured by man for convenience in order to get to work on time, to make out a scheduled plan for the day.
I think our lives are too measured by time to the point that we lament when there isn't enough time in the day to accomplish the tasks; and then we lament how slow the time goes when we're bored.  Time is necessary in today's society; I wonder what we can do without measuring time.

I once heard the definition of time as follows...

Time: that which keeps everything from happening at once.

    I like that definition.
