I'm going to answer this with a translated quote from my late grandmother. She used to tell me that:
"The wise man, learns from another man's mistakes. The smart man, learns from his own mistakes and the stupid man, never learns at all."
AMBASSADOR BUTLER is a wise person. You can see the wisdom in the greatest article on the earth called " Daily Nuggets Moment AMBASSADOR BRANDON BUTLER " which gets traffic from 100% Referring Sites, 0% Search Engines, 0% Direct Traffic 26 visits and 45 Page Views and a total 3064 and 189 monthly views with an average 1021 views per hub for 3 hubs along with 697 Page Impressions from Google Adsense. I have done absolutely no promoting or anything else for it except to write it and set it free on the internet with Google and watch it take off and soar around the world through 100% Referring Sites doing all the work for me. Laughing out loud and Glory to GOD.
I believe a wise person is someone who is open minded toward others, willing to listen, and thoughtful in responding to others, and someone who speaks from their heart as well as their mind. To be able discern the importance of things, and have insight to its meaningfulness, to be able to look at something or look into someone's eyes without being defensive or personal while expression of thought is taking place. Wisdom comes from experience, also. Not so much age of a person, but if a young person gains confidence and truth from an experience, than that person becomes wiser in regard to its meaning in life.
A person who does not know and does not know that s/he does not know is ignorant.
A person who does not know but thinks that s/he knows is fool.
A person who does not know and knows that s/he does not know is wise.
Clever man learns from own mistake. Wise man learns from others mistake. You can judge a man clever by his answers but can judge a man wise by his questions.
I see many really good answers.
I see a wise person as a person who learns from another person failures as well as success. I see this wise person as taking the acquired knowledge, that they have been taught and knowing what to use the knowledge for, where to applied the knowledge in each situation while moving towards their goals, when to apply what they have learned. A wise person also knows the reason why or they are wise enough to admit that they do not know all the answers. FInally a wise person know how to apply their knowledge physically, spiritually and mentally, while achieving their goals and building on what they have been taught through their life's experience.
Best wishes, I hope this meets you well.
