What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?

if you had the power to eliminate just one thing to make the difference....what would it be?

Having spent a good deal of time on this very question, I finally settled on the one thing that needed change: Ignorance. It was part of my quest to determine that which is good in the world and that which is evil. Realizing that the plants and animals (from the greatest to the smallest, I determined that each does exactly as they were made to do. A plant can't be evil, and neither can one of the non-human species we share this world with. Good and evil are characteristics of the human mind, so it is ignorance among mankind which needs to be eliminated.

    Ignorance!

This is the essence of selfishness and the kernel of the Great Fall from grace.

Ignorance is the product of the act "to ignore." By ignoring God and our spiritual heritage we were left to cling to physical reality as our "foundation of sand."

We turned our backs on the light and buried our consciousness in darkness. This was the great "death"--the long sleep of immortal spirit--whose dreams are the conscious reality of these Homo sapiens hosts.

Ego is at the heart of this ignorance. Ego is the sense of entitlement to be right and frequently to make others wrong. Ego is the matrix of mortal dichotomies--from good-evil and generous-selfish to wisdom-stupidity and compassion-indifference.

I hope to wipe the ignorance from my own soul and wish that blessedness on everyone else, too.

I would love to see everyone allow and accept each other. We are all on our own path and passing judgement if not nice and it will bite you in the butt.
