How will you prepare for the Mayan prophecy? Or can you?

Or do you believe in it all? If not, what's your take on it?

That's my take on it.  I'm gonna be planning for Christmas 2012 and beyond.

The conjunction has already happened a few years ago and is already 1/2 a degree past. It's just a very accurate calender based on the precession of the earth. BTW the Greeks knew about this also.

It talks about the mini ice age we are supposed to be in right now (but we are not because of global warming)

I would buy the calendar for 2013, and start planning next year.

The same way I prepared for y2k. I didn't.  Not that it doesn't hold some fascination for conjecture.

It will not be so soon. But there will be a day that ends all living beings on earth.

How soon will depend on human race as we will be the cause of destruction. Looking at the natural disasters happening around the world that has some doings by us. oZone and Greenhouse effect happening to us as the temperature around the world are changing rapidly.

So, are we doing something to slow down these effects or leaving them as it is. We are the ones deciding the fate of the world.

You can see my views and how I came to my conclusion about the Mayan prophecy here: … or-Fiction

I personally think that it will be business as usual on December 22nd, the day after the supposed end of the world. I could be wrong, however!

not worried at all.  I do not think anything too unusual will happen. However, if the world does actually end, look on the bright side, no work the next day.
