    What Exactly Is Scientology About?

What Is Scientology? I am wondering if there is anyone out there that has ever been a "scientologist"? What is Scientology exactly? I have heard of some famous scientologists, but I have not really heard what it is about, yet.

Get a copy of " Dianetics" by L.Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. It is a purely materialistic view of mankind.

    Ok scientology is:
    one part "religeon"
    5 parts science fiction
    44 parts money making scam
    30 parts hokum
and 20 parts mind altering drugs
the percentages may be off a little- I may have forgotten the percentage of BS.

That is unless you believe aliens are living inside the core of the earth- if you do then I guess those percentages for alt drugs may be a little low

I'm almost convinced that Scientology is an attempt at social satire that somehow got out of hand. The core of the "Xenu" myth is intentionally riddled with anachronisms and general ridiculousness. It's a parody of religion.

I'm pretty sure that Hubbard was an atheist. He is documented as having said that starting a religion would be a good way to make money. So he made up a religion that parodies mainstream religions with its ludicrous backstory and sci-fi thetan devices. Turns out his joke was so funny that people actually took it seriously.

I wonder how he would feel if he knew his fake religion has not only survived him but turned into a dangerous, money-grubbing cult?

    Scientology is a religious Cult.
Scientology claims to be a Religion.
-Scientology is based on the Philosophical teachings of the Founder L.Ron Hubbard.
-Hubbard was a student of the Infamous Dark Side Occultist Aleister Crowley.

I was a member of Scientology off and on for over 20 years.

A true 'Cult' seeks to secretly control you through subliminal Mind Control.

Scientology relies on 'the Reading of Books'!
If you read too many of their books you will be subliminally programmed to be a cult Slave.

They preach Honesty and Integrity, but if they get ahold of your money - 'All honesty and Integrity goes out the window'.

Hubbard was an absolutely brilliant man, but also a Con man and a crook.
