   For my profession: St. Christina the Astonishing. My personal favorite is Francis.

   As a writer I believe St. Vincent de Paul comes to the rescue.
   As a chicken care taker I ask for St. Francis of Assisi's intersession.
   When I lay down tiles St. Joseph gives a hand.
   And I forget so many things between jobs that St. Anthony works hand-in-hand with me to see if I learn to depend on God for the little things, so that when the big things disappear I have already developed a relationship with God's people.
   I'm never alone when I work!

   Hmm... I'm not sure.  Then again my job is a bit confusing, so I'm not even really sure what I would say my profession is.  I work in development and fundraising for a non-profit, serving as manager of one of our thrift stores. Although my long term intended career is in social services/social work so I guess my patron can be Louise de Marilliac who I'll admit I had never even heard of until I googled "Patron saint of social workers."
   
   The patron saint of my life would probably be St. Anthony because I am constantly losing things! I'm pretty sure if I asked for ihs intercession any more than I do now people would start to think I was sacreligious!
