There's controversy going on! Is pride and proud a sin?
I think it's alright be proud of one's accomplishments, or proud of a loved one's accomplishments, but when it gives the person a sense of entitlement or a "holier than thou" attitude because of the things in which said person takes pride in, then it becomes a problem
You will know best. When the inner being is happy, you will get a sweet feeling or an inner thrill. You will then not need to ask, perhaps.
