   Where is heaven according to God?
   
   When God made the heaven and the earth, He told us where heaven is.   Do You know where it is?

      Yes but where is the place called heaven, they are not the same thing.
      MT 6:10, COL 1:5, REV 21:1       JESUS said thy kingdom com in earth as it is in  "heaven".

      I don't believe everything that is written in the bible is literal. The MT 6:10 is just the lord's prayer and Rev 21 talks about seeing a "new" earth & heaven which implies the old earth and heaven will be destroyed. I'll stick with Luke 17:21

      the bible clearly tells us the physical location of heaven, where is it?    it is not the Kingdom of God which is within us.

   Heaven and hell are both states of consciousness as well as locations within the cosmos.  True the kingdom of God is within the heart, but there also is a physical location that we get to go to once we have moved from this plane of existence. 
   
   According to me heaven is where there I only bliss for all. I hope we all make it there one day.

      The word "firmament" AKA sky is used in that verse. However like many things believed in the Old Testament Jesus came to replace the old covenant with the new. Israel rejected Jesus and his teachings. Jews are still waiting for the messiah! hmm

      dscorpio - sky is not the correct translation of the word.  read what the scripture actually says instead of what some folks teach.  it actually  says it reaches from water to water, therefore the entire surface of the earth is acually in heaven

      celafoe - if water is what you are after then i suggest you read /youtube the "kuiper belt"... if i remember correctly its a band of  thousands of water blocks the size of earth about 15 million light years away...

      Just like the thief on the cross...... Jesus told him because of his faith he would meet him in paradise. Other than this, I do not know what you are looking for?

      pretty simple the question is what is the physical  location of heaven right now.    God clearly spoke where it is but most people wrongly say no one knows.

      acdc - that is the correct scripture but it does not say what you said above. the above is AFTER the judgement.   heaven currently is from the surface of the earth to the waters above and below, wherever they are

       happy to see you stuck in there instead of being offended.   So many have such thin skin my ways offend them and they just go away and pout.     My intent is always to point people to the Word and a relationship to HIM, not man .

   After typing out my answer i realized it was meant for Christians... so forgive me but i'm answering anyways.
   
   there are 7 skies (levels in heaven)... the gates of paradise start at the lowest sky which is just beyond the stars we see... the gates are guarded by angels. when a subordinate of satan tries to hear the commands of God near the gates of heaven the angels throw something like a fireball at them which we know as a shooting star.
   the position of God is on this throne.... our stretched shadows point towards God ...
   " the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything in between" is a common term you will find in the Quran... it's not on earth and there is a gap between the heavens and earth.
   If you want actual quotes then i can get them for you.

      celafoe , I hope you do know that (man) wrote the bible! Man also created religion! Religion was the original government people had for rule and order. The reasons why there are many denominations is because various sects disagreed on who is right

      If you are looking for heaven it is where I have said it to be. If you are looking for the light of God then you can find him Within you. Just need to polish that mirror. That's what I've come to know so far. If you think I'm wrong then plz explain.

      did you read genesis 1:5-9   According to God heaven is from the surface of the earth to the waters above and below, whereever they are.   The KINGDOM of God is within His people.

      sorry don't have a copy of the bible... i think you missed my comment above somewhere ... look up "kuiper belt" and you may find out where the waters above and below are... its a little different in our religion a little though... all good.
