   Do you believe that God/Angels are really aliens from outer space ?
   
   Today on the History channel the discussion was about how gods could have in fact been aliens who visited the planet. Science has made it their mission to prove that it is so. What is your View ?

   No, it is not true.  Aliens have never visited this planet.  We don't know if they actually exist.  No one has ever met one.  Demons and angels do exist, however, but they are not aliens from outer space.  They are, however, from another realm.

      How do you know?   People claim to have encountered aliens,  just like people claim to encounter Angels and demons.  Yet you reject the aliens and accept the demons/Angels.   It's special pleading,  not demonstrable by evidence either way.

      What I think makes it easy for them is the fact that no one has ever produced evidence of God or angels. Which makes it easy for them to come up with something. You say yes to angels and no to aliens but have seen neither.

      I never said aliens don't exist--they may, but I doubt we'll ever see one, as everything in space is too far apart to travel to, and we don't have the means of getting to the next galaxy anytime soon.

      forgive me i misread your comment. anywho, what is it that makes you believe that demons and angels exist. suppose man is confusing aliens with angels (or vice-versa), they are from outer space.

   even though in my opinion I don't think God is an alien or angels are aliens. but, How can we believe with all the planets out there that there are not aliens and it is definitely possible for them to have explored  our planet at some point, I don't believe that they have but I definitely have the outlook that anything is possible and no one knows for sure what is and is not.

   While the ancient astronaut theory is gaining popularity, I wouldn't say that 'science has made it their mission to prove that it is so'. Science has no opinion on this, which is widely regarded as a conspiracy theory. The stance that science has is that it is statistically likely that extra-terrestrial life does exist elsewhere in the universe. Though they say that it is likely in the form of microbes and that it has never visited Earth.
   
   I think the reason that the god/angels as aliens is a popular conspiracy theory is because it re-frames magic as technology. We live in a world where magic doesn't exist, but technology can accomplish things that appear to be magical. It's kind of a way for us to cling to fantastic stories of the past, without fully dismissing them as myth. Which is a noble effort, but one that is unnecessary. Mythology, no matter how fantastical, is an important part of our history and creativity.

   I think it would rather be true as those who delve into the elementary science notion of microbes and such are only seeing part of the picture.  They are missing the things that have been drawn out like the hyroglyphic pictures of aliens space men and such.  Hidden from view on most peoples scentific and mythological scale.  From a much higher elevation to the earth there seems to be pictures of things of space origins.  Some say they do not know what they are and IMHO they certainly do look like some sort of map to certain planets.  Now there are ways to hide things from view and that has been around for a long time.  There are pictures of Jesus and other masterpieces that have strange objects within them.  If you lived in a time (and these times are no exception) that people where shown thins and the person who hides them becasue of some sort of control of the masses, and then you actuall saw something that had more power than you could imagine...you would think that that things or person or entity was indeed a GOD or and ANGEL.  It is not uncommon as you would think.  There are much more evidence that there are a few alien species each with their own agenda running around the universe.  It is so very arrogant to even consider thinking the we, on this small planet, are the only ones out here.  Many have had abductions for one reason or another and what exactly are the reason for trying to make fun of those who did have such?  What is being hidden that we should know about?  I doubt very much that we are alone here.  There are many ways to get here than by our archaic and ancient machines.  We have already found a wormhole and time warps and folding space.  We already know so many things and that are not told to the mainstream people.  Religions tend to hide those things and say they are preposterous, because they would lose control of the masses such as it is.  Abductions are REAL.  Other aliens, or even those who come from our own future are REAL, so why not the Angels and Aliens.  The long running show Ancient Aliens is full of propositions and theories and subjects that come from our very own past and gives us lots to think about.  I was abducted twice and they both had something in common...egg harvesting to keep their species (or our past) alive and thriving and the other was about space wars and that we are or was part of it.  Some say that we HUMANS were seeded on this planet and there is a real Galactic Federation.  I do believe they are real.
