Do  you believe that aliens exist?

If you want to, share why you think aliens exist, or one of the biggest reasons you think so.

Yes, i do believe that aliens exist
there is just too much stuff in the universe for there to be only one planet with life.  my main reasoning is that there is just a statistical chance for life elsewhere in the universe

    Just remember that famous quote:

If we are the only life in the Universe....
What an incredible waste of Space !

I find it hard to believe that organisms haven't developed elsewhere. Think about it.

There are billions of stars in our own galaxy, most of them with planets, some with planets in the right range to support life.

Then, there are countless other galaxys out there, each with there own billions of stars.

Stands to reason that life has developed somewhere else with that much space out there if you ask me!

Absolutely! As others have just answered, with the size of the universe, statistically, it would make sense there is other life out there. We just don't have the technology at this point to travel and find it. Of course, there are those who believe aliens are already here visiting us on Earth! wink

I do, and the reason for this is that it is exceedingly arrogant to assume that we are the only "intelligent" life form in such a vast space as our uncharted universe.

Yes I can't believe we are the only ones in the universe.

    I take the middle road.

Just as the other hubbers have said, statistically, it makes sense, given the sheer size of the universe ( which is still expanding, after all, still evolving) so it cannot be ruled out entirely.

However, given all the conditions and coincidences that must be successfully met to produce life in the first place (the right distance from a star, a viable atmosphere, etc) I think it might also be somewhat rare. We may be the only planet with
(successful) advanced life on it in a great span of distance, like a lonely farmhouse with nothing to see for miles around but huge cornfields, if you know what I mean.

And by this I don't mean to imply some sort of creator or first cause, as I'm agnostic, merely the high rate of failure for life to become established and succeed in the first place.

So I will be more inclined to believe in other life in the universe, and more advanced forms of life, when I see more direct physical evidence of them. For now, I only believe in the possibility, but I would not go so fat as to claim certainty.

Yes, surely. We exist, and the universe is kind of huge.

Of course, they have already found alien dust particles indicating life as well as bacteria on mars. This is alien already. It's impossible for life not to be in many places.

I certainly believe so! Earth is not the only planet that can harbor life. there are tons of others but our technology has yet to take a closer look at them because they are so far away

Given the size of the Universe it'd be highly improbable for alien life NOT to exist. So yeah I believe there is alien life out there somewhere.

Yes.  There are other life-forms in the universe, not aliens, a word we would do well to drop.  I believe these forms must exist in billions of different ways, but I don't believe they have visited us or, probably, have any intention of doing so.  In fact, the word "they" implies human form like us, and that might be quite a reach...Bob

Ya i believe that alien exists. I think that alien certainly exists because the universe is very large and there must be some planet as lucky as earth for the existence of civilization.

The answer will come soon and lets hope we humans can handle the truth. Aliens have been among us for a very long time. In fact i think they have blended in with us and are part of the ruling elite.

Do you know that most of the leaders of the free world including the USA have been inter related (same bloodlines) go research if you like.

The first thing to become apparent is when the second dimension is exposed to many or maybe all. You might be shocked at the entities floating all around us.

It seems like it should probably be possible, since the universe is so vast, but I would have to see it to believe it

Yes. There is water on Mars. There is water on Moon. Universe is such an amazing place. There must be a life all over it.

I know that beyond a shadow of a doubt entities of other species exist. The idea isn't mystical and far fetched, and theyre a lot closer to home than one might assume..... assuming this is your home. Technically, humans are the aliens.

    Yes I believe,

I love the quote from Arthur C. Clarke:

“Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”
