The masons aren't mentioned per se. It's possible that the gibeons are a reference to them, but that's speculation on my part. Freemasonry has its roots in ancient Egypt. They were the ones who actually built the pyramids using technology we lost a long time ago. This is according to the research I've done. I'm not professing to be an expert as I am not a mason. I'm a Master Plumber.
