Did you know for 40 days after His resurrection Jesus continued teaching the gospel of the Kingdom?

Many people have this idea that once Jesus died on the cross His minstry had ended. However, after Jesus death and resurrection He continue teaching His disciple on the subject of the Kingdom for 40 more days. If we look at Act 1:3 (NKJV) it states: 3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them for forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
This message of the Kingdom is so importent that Jesus continued spreading the gospel of the Kingdom for 40 more days after is resurrection.

The ministry of Jesus Christ was very important post resurrection. What is interesting is that the Biblical account shows that he revealed himself to many, but it was only to his followers in his glorified eternal body. I believe there is an important reason.

He was living proof to his disciples that they too would become like him glorified as eternal sons and daughters of the Father.

The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven. - 1 Corinthians 15:47-49

Jesus Christ proved that he had risen from the dead by revealing himself to each one of his followers giving them instructions, teaching and many other Kingdom miracles that were not recorded.

See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” - Luke 24:39

It says in Scripture that Jesus will come back in the same way he left. He will come in the glory of his Father and reveal himself again to his followers in preparation for Kingdom tasks.

I believe that Jesus' ministry post resurrection is somewhat of a mystery for a reason.

So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven. - 1 Corinthians 15:42-49

Jesus Christ post resurrection ministry proved to his disciples that he was a life giving spirit and that through him we too may also bear the image of heaven.

The disciples saw the Gospel of the Kingdom post resurrection.

We must be born again to see the Kingdom. (John 3:3)

PandN- Thank you very much for your answer. I couldn't agree with you more. I believe this show how important the gospel of the kKingdom of God is. Also its clear the His teaching after His resurrection was to His disciples only. Again thanks.
