When does mercy become above justice?

"Luke 6:36 Be you therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful"

Can you cite some instances wherein mercy becomes above justice?

When does mercy become above justice?  When GOD is judging!
HE is GOD and does as HE pleases (Isaiah 14:27; II Chronicles 20:6; Revelation 6:17)!

Romans 4:8 says " Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin."

Exodus 33:19 says "...(I) will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy."

Romans 9:15;18  says "...I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion." (v18) "Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth."

Thanks for your insight! I have a question:

How about the wrongdoers who gets mercy and never learn that there are consequences for their actions?
I think they will commit sins again and again if mercy becomes above justice all the time. big_smile

Unbelievers who've never heard HIS WORD? His Word will be preached throughout the nations (Matt 24:14)! Heard WORD but don't believe? (Lk 12:47)
