Independence and Justice: What past or present figures or archetypes are there present for this?
I just learnt that Boudica was a Celt female who learnt to use weapons and lead a rebellion against the pride and arrogance of the Romans as they invaded Briton in the period of 30-60 A.D. Can these figures real or mythical really influence us today?
Yes, yes. Washinton, Lincoln, Emerson, Dickenson and Jefferson have all influenced us and are doing this today. Gandhi, Mandela, Mother Theresa, Gorbachev, Luther king Jnr and others are more recent ones. Did you see Ali's funeral on Friday! We cannot deny that it was moving for so many people!
Jesse Owens, Rosa Parks and Lincoln are synonymous for Justice as well as Mandela, and they all achieved and are continuing to achieve. By the way, lets not forget the pioneers. It is probably because of the Wright brothers that we are sending people to the moon, and The Declaration of Independence has some lines which was ingrained in the Magna Carta many moons ago.
Yes, I liked Boudica and Joan of Arc and quite a few more. So you and I, Treekeys, what are we going to be remembered for? Ha ha (smile) Well... we might be. You never know.
Very interesting answer. Really cool how you had such diversification.
Thank you, Eric. I'd probably include you in the next one. LOL.

Which U.S. President, past or present, would you most like to meet and why?

Would our forefathers lead a rebellion against our government? What would the signers of the Declaration of Independence think of this country they fought for and founded taxing it's citizens and still being 17 trillion dollars in debt?

If God is omni present and knows the past ,present, and future, then why would he test us when...he already knows the outcome of our actions?

Humbly, sharing a perspective . . .I use a method called ‘Zero Pointing’ when it is time to start anew. I have done so several times in my life. It is a process of taking stock and noting what is . . . is. At that point the past is accounted for. It is irretrievable. It is no longer reality. All...
