Psalm 82 is talking about the "Divine Council", not humans.

"gods" from the Hebrew "elohim" -- more of a status or state of being, than a title or singular entity. It can be singular though, in the case of "ha elohim" or "the God" meaning YHVH (the God of the old testament).

"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?" - Psalm 2, verse 1.

They didn't "obey" (Jn14:15) and "WAIT" (Acts 1:4) as "commanded!"

"...Behold, the Lamb of GOD, which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29)!

Without HIM, where would we be?

    Thank you JESUS!

I Peter 5:10- But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

It is my favorite verse because through our hard times and suffering, God establishes us, strengthen us and perfect to become more like Him.

      AMEN!

      "...the GOD of ALL "GRACE..."
"Suffering" is NOTHING in comparison to HE "...makes you perfect, stablish, strengthen, and settle you."

      Hallelujah!
