   Phoenix I have never learned your real name after five years of knowing each other. I reckon you have some reason to stay totally anonymous.
   You got your two: Catholic with a big C and catholic with a small c.  The big C connotes the ideas like descendant of Peter and the Vatican and some doctrine and dogma. The little c really means "Universal".  So you got your variants on the creeds, some like; I belief in the Holy "C" "c" church. 
   Folks who align with the Catholic church are just fine. They really do have Springs they call Vatican Councils. It is all good it lets them slowly but surely progress into non-dogma reality of spirituality.
   If the Pope over the last half century has appeared dictatorial that is bad marketing on their part. His group of Cardinals do a good job of keeping him in check like our congress does with our president.
   I am not Catholic but I used to teach catechism to youth whose congregations were considering becoming Catholic. Through my Lay Eucharistic Ministry via the Episcopals I can take a good communion with the best of them.
   We do not need to divide ourselves from Catholicism to be good Christians.
   One time in Mexico, decades ago I attended a mass on a volcanic mountain top. There were three hundred "churches" below us in the valley of Chollula/Puebla. But some 200 of us climbed one thousand feet and were met by visiting Buddhist Monks. It was a wonderful celebration on the life given us by Jesus Christ. Not a building within two miles. It was "church" in a pure sense.
   Please do not judge Catholics as though they are outerspace aliens. Each one is a child of God and each one deserves to be treated as that child not as a group.

   If you are a socialist a-religious Hillary supporter I suppose this email leak is great news for you, but to religious people who expect the government to be tolerant of religious beliefs they should not be generally surprised.

      We are well advised to pay heed to an officials affiliations, and perhaps more so a candidates. I get this feeling that HRC is anti spiritual and that DT is open to concepts. I wonder how it can be the more bombastic the more open. But I am.

   Why didn't anyone question Catholicism as a dictatorship back in 325 A.D. after "The Council" met?  It's no news that the Scriptures were changed then and will continue to be changed by man to align with "the times!"   Therefore, we're going to need more than WikiLeaks to keep us from following "the tradition of men" (Colossians 2:8)!
    
   As far as Religion in the United States; they (Catholics) have always been intertwined with politics and the poor little "spin offs" (33,000+ denominations in the US alone) follow in their footsteps!
   
   LORD HAVE MERCY ON US!
   
   For this world is Satan's kingdom (II Corinthians 4:4) and Scripture WILL BE FULFILLED (Luke 21:22)!
   
   We need JESUS (aka HOLY SPIRIT) who will "lead and guide us into ALL truth" (John 14:26) which is much farther than WikiLeaks!

      Scriptures weren't changed. That's why the unearthed old scriptures such as the Dead Sea Scrolls are almost identical with what we have in KJV Bible.There are thousands of such scriptures unearthed, so the claim that the teaching was changed is false

   Conservative refers to conserving the best of the past. The Catholic church, with a 2000 year tradition, sees its job as doing exactly that with a divine mandate to do so. Thus, change comes slowly and methodically.
   
   If you actually want to improve the world, we need a "Muslim spring" where Islam actually becomes the religion of peace the West keeps saying it is out of the hope saying so will prevent the regular acts of violence against non-Muslims, secular Muslims and between Muslim sects that occur with depressing regularity.

   Yes, it's a right name for them. They are using Christ to spread their totally non-Christian message, which is the greatest deception of all. They have also created the order of Jesuits to kill real Christians.
   
   They retained their idol worship of the ancient Babylon religion. They simply replaced their idols of the mother goddess Ishtar and her son Tammuz with the images of Mary and Christ.
   
   That's why you get such a big mother Mary statue with a small helpless child - because the attention is on the mother goddess, the queen of heaven of the Babylonians.
   
   I think that the Catholic Church is the beast of the revelation drunk on the blood of saints. Come out of her, people, it's total deception.

   This same Catholicism produced St. Augustine; St. Theresa of Avila; Therese Newmann, the Stigmatist; St. Francis of Assisi... shall I name a few more?
   
   Meister Eckhart; Julian of Norwich; Brother Lawrence and the modern comtemplatives Mother Theresa, Thomas Merton, Padre Pio and a few more.
   
   We are a family of brothers and sisters. Sometimes the wrong-doers in the family, will utilise the legacy in a negative way. This was happening 5000 years ago and it will continue to happen. You and I can play our part in a positive way.
   
   If you look closely at your answers here and elsewhere, you will see that most are looking out: 'The world did this to me; she did this to me; they are doing X,Y,Z. It is a terrible world.'
   
   Have we tried the inner way? Are we conscious of the Soul? Can my Loving and serving; my life of aspiration, be of benefit to my fellow humans? Tough questions. Do you seek meaning? Is there a quest for Something Higher? How can we best serve? Much Peace, my brother.
