What is the one question you would like to ask God and Jesus in heaven

As a Christian I believe that one day I will be face to face with my Heavenly Father and His Son Christ Jesus, and when that day finally arrives for me, hopefully sooner than later, I have one specific and very perplexing question to ask them both.

Even though I feel I probably know the answer to this question, still it looms in the back of my mind and gnaws away at me.

Knowing that you are God, knowing that you know all things, knowing that you have total control over all things, knowing past present and future, knowing that Jesus would be made to suffer as he was,

Why oh Why did you make provision for "Free Will" Freedom to choose?

Mankind I'm sure would have loved and worshipped their creator without it, and we would all be so much better off without it.

Being God you had to know where it would lead and what you would have to ask of Jesus to rectify it, and He must have known where it would lead so WHY?

How could we really love God (or anyone) if there were no free will? If it was pre-programmed into us to honor and worship someone or something without any choice, how could it be genuine?

Opps sorry, you weren't asking me.

Do you know to ask such a question is to  guestion your own Son Ship.

Nevertheless if you don't like it you can always die.

But then if you truly a son, then you cannot, not choose God.

So really you have no freewill.

It was not the Lord that gave free will to choose it was a decsion from man thatt  fell into temptation. remember The Lord ask not for Adam, Eve to bear the fruit of Knowledge she fell into temptation from the serpent and beared that fruit and shared it with Adam. this broke The Lords heart. Knowing it was to be difficult for man to follow only him.It states this all through the Bible and From that point God sent prophets to prophesy Jesus.to save Us from this.At that point when Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord.  Evil became prince of the earth and still is today.if a person falls into temptation the Devil becomes prince of that person also.Becuse Temptation is Knowledge of earthly satisfactions.Yes there was a choice in the beginning but only one temptation for that one temptation led to all there is now. When You marry do you not court to see if that person is of loyalty I feel in the beginning The Lord courted Adam and Eve as well in test of loyalty to him

Someone that requires loyalty contradicts free will.

So if he knew, why bring his son to all that suffering then ??
WHY are you making this question?
It's enough people believing in a God.

well, i never like to see the term "free will" applied to people in countries devastated by famine and whatnot. that is downright arrogant, it seems to me.

so i would ask God why he lets people starve to death and little kids get raped and murdered.

i would ask Jesus for a hug.

He created us as intelligent, unique individuals.  I don't understand why you'd think of free will as such a problem....

But anyway, to the question of what I'd like to ask Him...

I think for one thing, I'd like to ask Him how "perpetual motion" works....like how is it that the earth is suspended and what factor keeps it revolving, and the other planets.

But come to think of it,  the earth will be dissolved by then....lol....I could maybe ask Him how it WAS suspended, or I might have to come up with other questions....

        Wrong.
What caused gravity to be, in the first place?
It's a rather similar question to "What caused "the Big Bang"?

You see, I believe in the "Big Bang"----it was just God getting started!

I just think it would be awesome to hear Him speak and tell me how He did certain things.....or show me how He did things...
Actually, I might not have the nerve to ask Him anything at all!  I might just be so totally in awe that I'm speechless....

It doesn't. Unfortunately, we can't "make" energy, no one can. It's inherent to the "Conservation of Energy" law that states both energy and mass cannot be created or destroyed. In other words, you can't just make energy or get rid of it. It will always exist as a finite amount within our universe.

Newtons law says that anything in motion will remain in motion UNLESS acted upon by some external force. So, the Earth has been in motion for a very long time with little if no real "forces" acting upon it. As far as the earth is concerned (if it could concern itself) it is moving in a straight line with nothing to slow it down. Yet, it revolves around the sun. This is where the suns gravity comes into play.

Newton also thought gravity was a force pulling on things, what is referred to as action-at-a-distance, something somewhere is pulling on something else furhter away from it, and vice-versa. He wasn't correct about this.

Einstein said that gravity does not "pull" on things and is not really a force at all. He said that gravity was doing something to the space around the object, the sun for our example. What gravity appears to be doing is "warping" or "curving" the space around objects, such that the curves eventually point towards the object itself. Of course, the path, or geodesic, in which objects follow through space also get curved. So, even though the earth appears to be traveling in a straight line, the line itself is curved towards the sun, hence the earth follows this path.

It is the 'geodesic deviation' of the earth that keeps the earth from following these paths into the sun, similar to Newtons definition of inertia, which is a 'resistance' to changes of objects in motion. For example, you turn your steering wheel on a slippery road and the car keeps going straight, that's inertia.

      Hope this helps.

What do you mean that you can't make energy? We make batteries, batteries provide energy. People create energy between each other when interacting. What kind of energy are you talking about?

        1. profile image53
(Q)posted 13 years agoin reply to this

Making batteries and making energy are two different things. We make batteries and store energy in them. We don't simply whip up the energy out of thin air.

How do you explain the energy created between people interacting? It is energy from thin air. How do you explain the creation of good energy and bad energy? Or are you talking about a different kind of energy? Even words you are reading create energy.

What do you mean what energy? You don't think words create and give off energy? Are you asking for a scientific explanation of the energy? I have no idea how words create energy, this doesn't mean they don't do it.

However,  even with that very good I suppose scientific explanation,  we're still back to square 1 with the ever-asked question of WHO or WHAT put all that stuff in motion in the first place.
