We have chances to be brave or cowardly, forgiving or vengeful, cruel or kind, constructive or destructive, foolish or wise. The choices we make and how we engage with people shape our own existences and change the world around us. Every life is like a little pebble thrown into water. The event of that life transmits in an ever widening ripple. If you treat me like a friend when we meet, I will be in a great mood and much more likely to treat the next person I meet like a friend, too. Pretty soon people neither of us ever met and may never meet in this lifetime are experiencing a positive chain reaction that you set it in motion. That is what life is- what we all make of it. Personally, I believe what we do here in this realm also touches eternity.
Besarien has given you a most beautiful answer, I must say. What does it mean for you? where have you come from? Why this game?
Yoga Philosophy calls it a divine game, a lila (leela). God is having his own experience in and through us all. He enjoys the game. This is a transcendental question and some things we know only in the supreme state of oneness with the Source. Let us just say that God is enjoying Himself/Herself. Salaam!

How do you respond to criticism? How to you respond when your hubs are criticised? Does it make you feel angry, or dejected? Or does it encourage you to write better hubs? Maybe both?
