Right identification

   Who are you, really?  Do you know?
   Many people and I would say the majority, believe that they are John/Karen born at a certain date, has a certain age, they think that their body is who they are and all the many thoughts that come with it, but are we really any of these things?
   
   1  Your name is just a bunch of letters making sounds that your parents gave you at your bith, maybe even a few days after you were born.  So surely "it" cannot be you, because before you came out of your mothers womb, in the 5th, 6th months you already were and yet you had no name.
   
   2   The strongest identification comes from believing without ever questionning that we are our body, this is a great mistake
   when you were a few months you were(existed) but you did not locate yourself anywhere only as the years passed with the constant reminder from your parents, from society did you come to accept that lie.They would first keep on calling you using the name they have chosen for you, then for example when you hurt your leg or arm they would say something like this: oh1 john is hurting, then it became natural to you " i am John and John is this body".  If you really are the body then tell me if your leg gets cut off are you less yourself, no you are still you, no matter what happens to your body. Over the years your body has completely changed its whole structure from cells to bones skin etc nothing is the same now as it were maybe last year, but you are still the same one.  So who are you really?

      I agree with you that our existing is questionable being mortals; we have been bestowed life by the Immortal the Creator-God Allah YHWH. We don't know where exactly we reside in our body; some say in our brain but if it was possible to show us our brain, we won't recognize it.

      sorry I was not asking this question to myself, I know who I am, I am experiencing my true identity now.  I was just trying to make a topic of conversation and make other reader challenge their own beliefs about themselves.

   Who gives a flying f#*#*. U know what I am saying. You are all the same people. Who cares what your beliefs are.
   Everyone has there own beliefs and I dont believe in trying to make people believe in yours so leave them alone!!!!!!!

      I am not trying to force my beliefs on anyone, it is a simple question and probably the most important one. As long as we live in the illusion of being this body this name then we are living a lie a dead life. no one has forced you to do anything posting a comment or other.

   We live in the brain. That is who we are. Stick your head in an MRI scanner and you can see yourself tick. Simple really.
