Think of , if you will; the one person in the world that brings you the most joy. When you think of them, they make you smile. When you here from them, it makes you happy. It could be a spouse, child , sibling, friend or parent. But they bring joy to your life. Can you see them in your minds eye, smell them or here their laughter. Nice picture, right. Now imagine you are with a freind and you start to relate to them how good this person is and how wonderful they are and how much joy they bring to your life.
And out of the blue come a horde of people, puting down the person you love most in the world. They don't even know your lovef one, but yet here they are. Just ridiculing your loved one and you for lovig them.
Now riddle me this, what do you do?
Kill the attacker! Or dedicate my life to killing them all!

Loved one as in a real person? Then I'll defend the loved one, depending on what is actually stated.
If you're reference is to a god, since you put this thread into the religious forum and not in the family forum, then one would realize you're talking about your love for your god.
Thus, irrationality must be met with rationality.

Would you find it unacceptable for someone to request no funeral, someone you loved? I don't think I would want to put my kids, family, and friends to the expense, disruption, and awfulness of a funeral but would that be 'cheating' them somehow? If they're going to come see me, I'd prefer it to be...
