Serenity Prayer for Poker Players

   I am in a great mood tonight and I am going to take it out on all of you. Please feel free to make suggestions to improve this.
   
   Here's the original.
   
   God grant me the serenity
   to accept the things I cannot change;
   courage to change the things I can;
   and wisdom to know the difference.
   
   Living one day at a time;
   Enjoying one moment at a time;
   Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
   Taking, as He did, this sinful world
   as it is, not as I would have it;
   Trusting that He will make all things right
   if I surrender to His Will;
   That I may be reasonably happy in this life
   and supremely happy with Him
   Forever in the next.
   Amen.
   
   
   
   God grant me the ability
   to fold the rags I'm dealt;
   courage to play the cards I should;
   and wisdom to know the difference.
   
   Playing one hand at a time;
   Enjoying each pair as it comes;
   Accepting donks as the pathway to the final table;
   Taking as we must, the bad beats
   in this game, that are a part of it;
   Trusting that the dealer will make it right
   if I hang around long enough;
   That I will rake the big stacks on occasion
   and be granted the bracelet at the end
   of the tourney. Amen

   Totally, absoultely love the poker player's serenity prayer.
   
   Know many people who will love it just as much. Do you intend to make it a hub? I'd like to share it.

      Pandora, I dont intend to do anything else with it. Any who want to are welcome. I just left the Poker Stars site and had a pretty good game. .
      
      Today has been a great day. It's not often that people suprise me but a mechanic did just that today. I took my bike in for repairs and gave the mechanic a list of things I thouhgt need repaired. He called me today and informed me that two of the most expensive repairs I requested were unnessasary. Nothing like a bout of honesty and integrity to brighten the day.

   Yeh that's unusual. Really good business practice, but rare.
   
   Throw it in a hub and add a poker picture. It's already written! I can't use it otherwise...

   You know what, I think it's against the TOS now I think about it.
   
   Cancel that hub request, we'd better check first. I wouldn't want you getting it trouble with the Big G.

   I guess that means it's okay, and the words of it aren't very seo poker friendly, so it wouldn't think it would trip and filters or trigger gambling ads or anything else which could be bad.
   
   But now I'm nervous anyway cause I urged you to do it and I'll feel awful if they put you on a sit-out.

      No worries. It doesn't promote poker or gambling in any form or fashion. I should be ok unless one of those I beat in that last game works here, lol.

   Actually, lol, I just visited your profile. This is very tame. If the big G chooses to slap you down it won't be over this.
   
   You've got sexuality, condoms, abortions, religious intolerance, all kinds of fun things going on over there. May as well add some gambling to the mix.
   
   Thank you, I shall share immediately and more focusedly over the next couple of days. I know some people who will definitely get a kick out of it. And they may even print it out to memorize for to chant when their cards go cold.

      Thanks for the checking out the profile and the positive feedback on it. I know most people on here are trying to make money. I'm just looking for a place to share some opinions and it seems that opinions are one thing I have plenty of these days. Thanks again for the comments. Any day I can cause a smile somewhere is a good one.
