New Manchester United AWAY KIT (2012/2013)

Updated on July 28, 2012

UPDATE : The kit has now been confirmed as official by Man Utd and it would appear the leaked pictures we got here a couple months ago were nearly 100% accurate.

The Verdict is in..... This kit is awesome, every United fan i've seen so far have embraced this kit and i think most fans will be purchasing this away kit rather than the home kit this year.

Picture originally received in May and 2 months later released in July

New kit?

This is a leaked picture from the production lines of the new 2012/2013 Manchester United away kit. Not every leaked picture of a kit ends up being produced but i hear that Phil Jones was wearing it on MUTV this week?

However it does look rather official and to be honest i really like it, personally i can see myself buying this one rather than the home kit (Gingham tartan style).

There are rumors that the away kit will get officially released 30/05/12. However nothing officially mentioned, these are just rumors. I do believe the previous away kit was only released in July 2011.

Our away kits in the past couple of seasons have been somewhat of a bad omen, nobody seems to have mentioned anything about it but I'm fairly certain that we lose with a much higher frequency with our away kits, its not even a question of having home advantage but i'm still convinced that when we use our red kit (even away from home) that we win more frequently than our away kit.

Q: "Why do Football clubs release kits every year, they are just trying to make money, the game has been ruined by commercialism"

A: For me a new season without a NEW kit, just isn't the same. So whether or not its done for commercial reasons who gives a crap, in fact great! more money to the club can only be a good thing.

Fake away kit

These pics were released at first, suggesting the away kit would be gingham tartan also, thankfully this would appear to be fake

Whats your opinion!?

What are your views on this potential new Away kit? Do you like it? Is it too soon to release another away kit? Where does it rank in terms of recent away kits? Who will you get on the back of it?
