Crazy for Wilson not to Sign?

    Watching this Russell Wilson contract stuff and it feels crazy if he doesn't sign.  Let's say he has an average year or a below average year and they miss the playoffs, or if he gets hurt.  Then he won't be talking anywhere near $20M a season.  If he doesn't sign, he only makes $1.5 M this year.  Then the Seahawks franchise him and they pay him a bit over $20 M for year two.  That's two years for less than $12M a year on avg.  Come to think of it, why would the Hawks push to sign him.
