That's right.  His grandfather, father and uncle all played for them.

No they never. They were all footballers, manily mulling around the lower leagues/non-league but never played for city, you are just plain wrong!

I'll be cheering on Hatton at the weekend, a true great who always puts on a good show for his legions of fans.

          There's only one Ricky Hatton!

That's not what HBO reported! Maybe you're wrong! Maybe I'm wrong! Not sure if the ! mark was necessary!  I could read you loud and clear!  Mistakes happen!  Wow! Enjoy the fight! Good Bye! Be Well!

I'm leaning towards Manny.  Though I dig Hatton's band.  Manny gives so much to charity.  It is a tough choice for me.  I follow both boxers closely.  I tried to get tickets to this fight several months ago.  Ring side seats, 18 rows back $8600.00 a piece.  Front row $15,300.00.

Bloody Hell - I knew that they were expensive, but that is ridiculous.

No chance of watching it on TV, so will try to find radio commentary smile

    I'm leaning towards Manny.
Freddie Roach is an amazing trainer.

Vegas bookmakers have Manny. That always stands for something.

You don't have to lean, Hatton has never fought anyone real and won, since he's come to fight in America, I've seen him lose twice, even though they gave him a phony victory of Collazo. Manny has taken on the best fighters since the beginning. He should rip Hatton.

Hatton is a fellow Lancastrian, so blind patriotism must take over.

Great stuff - must have been a unique experience!

Poor Hatton - a very good and honest boxer, but he was not quite good enough to mix with the very best.

Sufi- that's Mayweather's fault.  Hatton could've hung in there if he'd been schooled and prepared to fight Manny.  Mayweather sunk him.

hatton never had a chance, and has never been at Manny's level to compete with him, Manny is way too quick and strong

Hey Toad!  I'm sure you don't want to remember me, but how's the construction business?  I told you the economy was going to break.  July is around the corner and I do think I'm right.  So hope all is well.

Sorry all so back to boxing; hatton is a decent fighter.  I've watched him fight before.  I don't think he could've beaten Manny but I think he could have hung in there for at least 8 rounds.

Hi IntimatEvolution - Hope that life is treating you well wink

Certainly, I expected more than 2 rounds, but Manny has the potential to be up amongst the elite.

Interesting times, especially now that the heavyweight division is devoid of interest.

Hi Sufi!  Manny wasn't prepared.  It's that simple.  Mayweather sucks!  I've always thought that.

Hey you- um.... I'm sorry for trying to take you down too a dark, dark place a couple of months ago.  Remember?
