   It depends on what species of Deer you are talking about and what type of terrain also.
   Most people hunt White Tailed Deer from a tree stand or watching trails that lead to cover,feed and water.
   If you hunt Mule Deer,it will be by spotting scope or stalking your quarry as they are usually in the open desert areas or in the high mountains,feeding in meadows and sage brush flats.
   In Alaska you will find hunters using boats or canoes along the coast to hunt Blacktailed Deer or Sitka Deer.

   personally, I have had no problem finding them driving down the road.......no seriously!!  I have had 2 jump into my truck in a couple of months!!! and i even have the deer whistles to prevent them from doing this!!!  oh well.  Good luck hunting......bow hunting is my favorite!! btw
