Out of the following fighters, who would've beat any of the others in a bare knuckle bout, and why?
Muhammad Ali, Rocky Marciano, Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Mike Tyson, George Foreman
Please choose one and describe why you think the fighter has an advantage over the others.
I'd have thrown in Jack Dempsey and Sonny Liston as well
To answer your question Foreman or Tyson I think would be best. Tyson had the "fighter" mentality, a bit unhinged and a brute. Like a caged animal Mike probably wouldn't stop until the other guy was out of it. Marciano was tough I'll give him that but he'd be giving away serious weight to Foreman who would likely be to big and too strong for everyone on that list.
Johnson and Ali were great boxers but I don't think I'd fancy them in a street fight, Ali hated fighters getting close to him (bouts with Frazier and Norton showed that) and Johnson was a cute boxer, not sure how he'd fair with someone like Tyson or Foreman grabbing him and clubbing him.
