Which sport would you include in the summer Olympics and why?

This can be a sport which has been in before, but isn't included in the current lineup.

I would include cricket as a summer olympic sport. It is one of the oldest sport and is also very popular in South Asia and many other countries. The T20 version of the game runs almost as long as a baseball game so if baseball can be included in the olympics, I don't see why cricket can't be included.

Baseball isn't an Olympic sport anymore. Plus, cricket does not need the exposure of the Olympics. It is already one of the biggest sports on the planet. Would be good to see though.

Even though cricket is popular, countries like India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka struggle to get a single medal in the olympics. Including cricket will give them hope for a medal too. smile

I would bring back baseball and softball.  Leagues are present in a few countries around the world so why not have them on display in the Olympics again as well?

I believe this was the first olympic that baseball was not included as a sport. I have no idea why!

I would bring back baseball to the Summer Olympics.  Baseball has become a popular sport in many countries and should be showcased at the Olympics because many people would enjoy watching it.  I would think that baseball has as many fans around the world as table tennis does and would be more entertaining for the viewer.

I would bring back golf. Luckily, it will be a sport in the 2016 Olympic games
