Can you help me with a DUO Therm Roof Top AC problem?
Unit seems to power on but no air movement at all ..... when I removed exterior cover off of roof mounted unit the motor that turns the two fans will not turn at all.....I put a vice grip on it and tried to turn it .....no way.....bad motor?

Yes..thank you. I read both of those and they lead me to believe the motor is seized but I am reading into your articles a little. The motor will not turn at all so I am assuming the motor is seized. I just put a vice grip on it again and gave a few
Replacing the motor is not too difficult if it is indeed the problem, KD. It it has bearings with grease fittings--rare today--it may be rebuilt by an electric motor service. Otherwise, you may order one from the Amazon links on my repair pages.

Can any one help? I have just joined a couple of days ago, published my first hub but am still notAble to create my profile. Nothing will save and all imputed information just simply disappears after hitting save....
