    Who's your Childhood Hero?

One of my best childhood memories was having the opportunity to meet Philadelphia Icon, Joe Frazier.

Other than storybook characters, I never had a real hero. You were a very lucky child.

Well it was Lance Armstrong- but that has been shattered recently!

Other than my parents, I only had one.  It was Anne Sullivan because I read "The Miracle Worker" (a book I got from "The Scholastic Book Club") and had tremendous respect for Ms. Sullivan's ability to see in Helen (or at least imagine in Helen) what nobody else could see.  More importantly, I was impressed by the fact that Anne would not back down on what she knew was right when others doubted not only her, but Helen (who most needed someone to have faith in her).
