Do you believe Manti Teo - about his imaginary girlfriend or this is just a hoax?
or this story should never be a concern at all? What is your take on this?
I believe this story is a non factor. If he made up a girl friend to make himself feel better than that's his issue. And if that is a fact then I believe there should be some psychological evaluations done. But this should not be a concern at all.
At this point, does anybody (other than Notre Dame) really care? Its not like he did something illegally like what's happening with the University of Miami (FL).
I don't know exactly how the 'fake girlfriend' helped Manti Te'o's football career, but riding the empathy train sure got him lots media coverage. I think it also shows how much of a creep he is....using somebody's death, fake or real, to get attention shows a real bad character flaw
I'm surprised no one asked him why he was fine with having a girlfriend he's never met for three or four years??? How is that OK or even remotely normal? The whole idea of having a "relationship" with an online girlfriend that you've never seen in real life and then getting sympathy for her pretend death is beyond weird, not to mention pathetic. Apparently, Manti Teo was also too busy to make it to her pretend funeral. I wonder if he sent pretend flowers...

I'm so sick of hearing arguments about guns and mental illness and bad parenting. What school meetings or city meetings would be a good place for people to go to express their concern?

What would you do if your five year old begins to see and talk with the spirits of relatives he never met because they died before he was born? Would you encourage them to develop their psychic ability or would you consider taking him to a psychiatrist for treatment?

Could it be that all this Ebola hysteria is just another hoax? After all, with scientists trying to trick us with this climate change crap and trying to convince us that vaccines really work, seems to me that we can't trust them to come up with an effective solution to Ebola, if there really is such...
