Looking at their record up to this point, you would have to say yes because like so many other teams, they have a chance.

I don't see any reasons to say they aren't. At the moment, they are one of only two one-loss teams in the nation. They play in the Big 10 which has some pretty good competition in it this year. Not to mention they have some really good talent on their team.

As for the Final Four, it all depends on how well they are playing come tournament time. Lots of things can change before then. If they don't have any major injuries and they keep clicking on the court, then yeah they have as good a chance as anyone else.

Michigan deserves to be #1 right now, but they're very young and they simply aren't very big (Mitch McGary is really just a foul waiting to happen at this point). They are vulnerable to high end post scorers and strong rebounding teams- assuming those teams can deal with their pressure.  That really only puts them at a disadvantage against Indiana in the Big Ten, but Michigan plays them on the road this Saturday.

Michigan is very good, but I can't figure out how they skipped over KU like that.
