During the hot summers, we drive up to the high snowfields of the Rocky Mountains just an hour away to ramble with zig-zags across the hardened snow to cool and breezy open tundra where we can admire spring flowers like snow buttercups pushing through patches of snow.

That's awesome if you have the possibility to play in the snow in the middle of summer;)

Just get outdoors.  Take sunscreen and water.  It's better to be active rather than sit idle.

Stay indoors as much as possible, have plenty of popcycles and ice cream in the house, check the car and home air conditioning, have little fans on the key chains, a set of water bottles at the ready.
