Due his recent problems I find that you have more people comeing out saying this or that about Tiger from he swears all day on the course, to he's forgotten he was black, to any and everything under sun, But it's funny how since this man came on the seen golf has never got the rating's on tv since the day's of jack and greg. he's a one man company, i've watch a game where he did not play and the stands where empty and no one was watching, except die hard golfer's. so i ask is he more importent then H1N1 in this country?
I take it from your post that there is some kind of racist slant as to why Tiger is being so closely covered by the media in his cheating scandal?
I don't know about others but I feel he made his bed and now he has to lie in it.
The phenomena of celebrities falling from grace is not just for media feeding frenzies on blacks. There was the Frank Gifford and Cathy Lee scandal and Clinton scandal with Lewinsky and the so many more that are on white celebrities that I think it would be too hard to make a case for the racist slant on this one.
The pig virus is over-hyped. That's my take.
Look, who freaking cares about this? Honestly? does anyone remember when alex rodriguez admitted to taking steroids earlier this year? or how about nfl defensive player, ray lewis, being convicted of murder? or Kobe bryant when he was being charged for rape allegations? anyone remember them? You should because they all have two things in common.
one, they're reputations too were in trouble when they were caught with these allegations.
Yet, when they won championships, people automatically forgave them, and welcomed them back with open arms. That's what's going to happen to tiger. he didn't do anything illegal, that would cause him to go to jail that we know of. therefore, he'll probably come back on the golf cours next year, win a few majors again. then the sponsors and all you people here criticizing him, will praise him as the best golfer in the world. that's the reality of the situation. now if this had happened towards the end of his career, then yes, his life would be ruined as there would hardly be anything he could do to redeem himself. however, since he's still in his prime and more than likely won't see any jail time, then he'll be just fine.
his marriage will probably be over or rocky, but his golf career will be fine. trust me, you guys will be talking about him breaking jack's record in the next decade.
i was speaking in generality tk, and not necessarily people like you or me. MOST people forgave them, and now you rarely ever hear about those allegations when it comes to them. the same thing will happen with Tiger woods. he'll come back, and win a few more majors, and the majority of the world will boast about him being the best golfer ever again.
