    I don't study baseball statistics.  But I've always thought the 1927 Yankees pretty spectacular.

    I guess I would have to say it's a tie between the 1927 Yankees and the 1907 Cubs, being from Chicago there has to be a Chicago team in the mix. However I think the 1995 Cleveland Indians and the 1998 Atlanta Braves were to teams in the top 5 best ever, even though neither won the World Series.

    The Mariners in the late 90s had some incredible years, but you have to ho with Ruth's Yankees in '27
