If you've been following the qualifying, you would have seen some amazing performances in the track and field events. One such performance was the finishing kick by Hiltz in the 1,500-meter run to win the qualifying.
Media grabbed ahold of the fact that Hiltz is technically transgender because she considers herself non-binary.
Well, the far-right in this country simply saw the words transgender and, being the uneducated, morons they tend to be on things, assumed Hiltz had to be someone who was previously a man and transitioned to a woman.
For the record, Hiltz was born a female and non-binary means that they do not choose to identify with either gender. So, the far-right is mad because a biological female qualified in a women's event.
You can't make this stuff up.
