    John Daly, the 1995 British Open champion at St. Andrews is three shots behind after the first round shooting a 66.  So, does big John have what it takes to win a major championship again?

    Well If He Can't..... He won't remember and have to ask the barman how he got on ..... and did anyone on ebay bid for his disgusting trousers. lol

    Well, obviously he can't and hasn't, but I think his weight loss and ability, will see him win again sometime in the future.

    I think John Daly is a has been. He made no friends in Australia with his thuggish behaviour. He will go down as one of the most obnoxious golfers in history.

    Yes, despite his weight loss and all, he certainly is a 'has been' now. Pity, because he is a good guy at heart; just totally lacking in self discipline.
