Updated on August 3, 2012

Beauty comes in all forms, all different sizes and shapes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder is how the saying goes and this is so true. Everyone has a natural beauty about them whether they see it or not. I like to share some natural beauty tips to bring out the inner goddess in you.

First thing as a woman you need to have confidence in yourself. Look in the mirror every day and tell yourself you are beautiful and you are worthy. No other person can give you confidence or self esteem, this comes from within. It might be hard having confidence when everywhere you look you are being bombarded with images of photoshopped famous celebrities and fashion models who are seen as being "perfect". Just know that no one is perfect not even them.

Here are a few all natural beauty tips that are mostly just common sense.
1. Eat healthy and balanced meals. Limit how much sweets and sugar you intake.
2. Drink plenty of water to hydrate your body for glowing soft skin
3. Don't smoke cigarettes. Cigarettes are not only harmful for your health but they will age you prematurely causing wrinkles.
4. Stay out of the sun. When you are in the sun wear some type of sunscreen.
5. Get enough exercise to stay fit and in shape

Play up your best features. Whether it's your eyes, smile, hair, maybe your arms or legs, whatever part of you that you like the best accentuate.

Natural Beauty Tips For Dressing For Your Body Shape

All women come in different shapes and sizes. You should learn what your body type is and how to dress to look your best.

Dress to flatter your curves and to minimize the areas you do not like.

First, the Apple Body Shape is weight proportionate throughout with the most weight being around the midsection.
Try wearing longer length tops and an empire line. Wear low necklines to draw attention upwards.
Aoid adding any volume around your middle. Don't wear any short and boxy style jackets, pleads and tied skirts.

Second, the Strawberry Body Shape is bigger on top than on the bottom because of broad shoulders and/or big breasts in comparison to the hips and waist. This can make you look like you are top heavy.
Try wearing fuller looking skirts, trousers with wide legs and use bright colors on the bottom half. Wear v-necks and wrap tops.
Avoid shoulder pads and tapered pants, puff sleeves and halternecks.

Third, the Hourglass Body Shape has a fuller bustline with a small waist. The proportions are like a hourglass.
Try wearing wrap dresses, wear a belt cinched around your waist, wide leg jeans.
Avoid anything shapeless like some jumpers. THese will only hide your small waist.

Fourth, the Pear Body Shape has more weight on the bottom than the top part. More weight is through the hips, thighs, and butt.
Try wearing bold and bright colored tops, or wearing a top with a large collar, lapel and sleeves. This will balance out your figure.
Avoid any pencil and fishtail skirts.

Finally, the Rectangle Body Shape is fairly straight up and down with a boyish figure, although not all have smallish chests.
Try wearing a coat with a belt cinched at the waist.
Avoid low rise jeans as these can make your torso look much longer. Don't wear sheath dresses either. Stick to clothes that have more shape.

Natural Beauty Tips Using Homemade Beauty Recipes

A great natural beauty tip is to use various items you probably have laying around your house right now to make your own beauty products.

You can make an array of homemade beauty recipes with different items such as coffee grounds, rolled oats, Arm and Hammer baking soda and more.

Coffee grounds can be used to exfoliate the skin, to help with cellulite, to enhance hair color if you're a brunette and to add shine.

Use Coffee Grounds as an exfoliant on either your face or body
Take 1/4 cup of coffee grounds along with an egg white, mix together than spread this all over your face. Allow it to dry completely. Once it is dry, than rub off and rinse.

Use Coffee Grounds To Help Reduce Cellulite
The coffee works to improve your metabolism as well as remove some of the fluid out of the fat because coffee is a diuretic. It is absorbed easily into the skin.
Use 1/2 cup coffee grounds along with 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Take a small amount of olive oil over the cellulite than rub the coffee grounds mixture in a circular motion. Do this for five minutes than rinse.

Use Coffee Grounds In Your Hair To Enhance Shine And Color
Don't use this if you are a redhead or a blonde. The coffee will end up staining your hair color. This is best for people with brown or black hair.
After you have shampooed your hair, take some coffee grounds and massage into your hair and scalp, rinse than follow up with a conditioner.

Use Coffee Grounds For An All Over Skin Exfoliant
Mix some coffee grounds with a little bit of olive oil. You can use whatever type of oil you like best such as coconut, baby oil or sunflower. Rub in circular motion where skin is rough. Rinse when finished.

A Great Beauty Tip: Using Oatmeal For A Natural Scrub Or Mask

Another good natural beauty tip is using oatmeal. Oatmeal is something you probably have readily in your house. Oats are a great skin soother and moisturizer. Be sure though to use rolled oats and not the quick cook oats or the flavored kind. In the recipes that follow if one says to use ground oats, all you need to do is take a clean coffee grinder or blender to grind your oats until it is a powder.

Oat And Brown Sugar Scrub
2 tablespoons ground oats
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons aloe vera
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Mix all ingredients until it forms like a paste. Massage this into damp skin. You can use this scrub as a smoothing treatment for your entire body. Just tripe the recipe.

Banana Mask
1/2 ripe mashed banana - this is for moisturization
2 tablespoons ground oat - used to soothe
Milk or cream - put in however much you need. Used to soften
Little nutmeg - used as an antiseptic
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour - used as antioxidant
Mix together adding cream or flour until you reach a paste consistency. Spread the mixture over your face. Leave it on for around five to ten minutes, rinse than dry.

Oat And Honey Milk Bath
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup powdered milk
2 tablespoons honey
Put all ingredients in a little natural fabric bag, like a cheesecloth, hang under the faucet as the water fills up the tub.
