Autumn/Winter fashion trends for Woman

I always try to keep up to date with fashion while keeping my own style, i like to look through the fashion magazines such as Elle and Vogue and pick out key trends which i can mix up with other clothes to create different looks, however this season their is so many different mish mash styles that it would be hard for any woman to not find at least one style she liked.

The Outsiders look is very big this season with Tweed, corduroy, plaid and mohair in autumn colours such as Camel, Khaki, browns and greys all very big trend colours for the Autumn/Winter look. fuzzy blanket coats, camel coats, baker boy hats, fur coats, chunky knit scarfs, fur lined boots and shearling jackets, knitted leg warmers, pop socks and tights, and oversized knitted cardigans.chunky knits and tan accessories. so whether your going out or staying in get cozy in the latest trend.

Also making a return this season is 'The Parka' teamed with straight leg jeans or skinny jeans and suede ankle boots.

One of the Key trends this season is 'The Cape' which is hitting the shops in all different styles from practical to glamourous, the cape is easy, cosy and comftable and with all different colours to choose from, you are bound to find one that compliments your look.

Another trend that seems to be here to stay is Animal print, leopard print was seen on the catwalk in dress form, belted blouses and coats, River island currently have some nice leopard print shorts and skirts in too.

For the working girl smart tailored seperates are in such as grey colour block shift dresses, button front shorts or trousers, pencil linned skirts, smart shorts with braces, tailored jackets and patent leather shoes, mostly in greys and blacks.

For a night out get the fierce look which is all about black and silver, studs, sequins, skull detail cuffs, all teamed with the traditional little balack dress, or black trousers and bustier top.

Or you could try Vintage with leather skirts, black shorts, rock printed t'shirts, jewel bibbed tops, suede ankle boots and ruffle 3/4 sleeved cardigans. the trick for this look is to team pretty pieces with leather and statement items to give your look the edge.

Feathers and Ruffles and Bows are also big this season for a more glamorous look try teaming a feathered or ruffled skirt with a long sleeve pompom detail jumper and a pretty headband, or a jumper dress with a feathered jacket.

A key colour this season is Midnight blue, and with blue as the new black there is plenty of items to choose from,

Also making a return is 'The Cocktail Dress' with a nice LBD teamed with diamonte jewellery and a little clutch bag, also not forgetting the statement cocktail ring for that added glamour.
