Best Lip Plumpers

Updated on November 3, 2022

Big fat lips appear to be flavor of the year, don't they? Nothing wrong with that, of course, provided said lips match your face. Sadly, one need only turn the telly on to see just how many people ignore that bit before going and ruining their pout with collagen injections. I hate to be the one to inform you, but it's highly unlikely that puffer-fish lips are going to suit your face. That, and even the "best" plastic surgeons seem incapable of making fatty lips look believable. Honestly, it's like some of these celebs are going in there and asking for duck lips! That being said, most women do want fuller lips, and I count myself among you, so don't go getting uppity just yet; I'm not saying you can't go for fatty lips, I'm just saying you should opt for something that's going to enhance your lips, as oppose to virtually augment them into some creepy pucker that looks like it came with a Halloween costume. The next time you want to puff your pout up, try one of these lip plumping glosses; they really do work!

Lip Fusion Lip Plumping Gloss

Lip Fusion is the brand I use, and I can say that I have seen fantastic results from this stuff. They have several formulas available, and as you can see from that photo, this one has been given the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. It's a bit expensive, but it does last a long time, and I think it was worth every penny. It probably took 2 days of use (2 or 3 times a day) before they really plumped up, but I was definitely loving my lips!

Sexy Mother Pucker

Hello? Sexy Mother Pucker? That's worth buying for the name alone, don't you think? It just so happens to get rave reviews on the plumping action, so you may want to give this one a try if something like Lip Fusion is a bit out of your budget. Who doesn't love a little retro?

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips

Buxom Lips from Bare Escentuals is another very popular item for fattening up the lips. It comes in all sorts of colors, so if you don't want the clear look, you can sex things up a bit with some shimmering shine in a whole range of prettiness.

Urban Decay Big Fatty Plumper

The name scares me a bit, but the product is said to deliver. Big Fatty Plumper from Urban Decay is one of the more popular lip plumpers and it's moderately priced as well. Puffer-fish lips, here you come!

DuWop Lip Venom

DuWop's Lip Venom comes in several formulas and this one here is the original. Another moderately priced lip plumper, this one has gotten a lot of positive feedback from big-lip-lovers everywhere, and at that price you can give it a try without having to live on ramen noodles for a month in order to afford it!
