If you have any shade of dark hair color, even black, it's ridiculously hard to go red WITHOUT any pre bleaching. If you are doing your own hair, I'm assuming you know just how bad bleaching kills your hair. It's awful, terrible, don't do it.
Anyways, there IS a way to achieve that bright red hair color you've been dreaming of! It's a product called "Loreal hicolor hilites" in the color RED. It's meant to be used with 20 or 30vol developer and it lightens your hair! It's an amazing product sold by Sally's beauty supply! I've been using this ever since and it's absolutely astounding how well it works! Your welcome!
