My dog has diarrhea with bright red blood.
My 3 year old yellow lab mix ate cloth underwear, Not all but approx 5x5 inch pieces x 2 three days ago. She had loose stool the first day. The second day she had straight diarrhea about 12 episodes. I gave her a dose of famotadine. On day three she continued with vomitting and diarrhea of stool but drinking and eating. Later on day three we left and came home to find straight watery blood x 3 episodesfrom rectum . The dogs gums ate pink and is moving around. She has done this before and after blood work and x rays and fecal samples , vet stated had colitis and Sent her home on carafate slurry.
Your dog has a serious issue. In fact due to her eating non-food materials, this seems to be a medical emergency. You need to get her to a Vet. Pronto!
TAKE YOUR DOG TO A VET RIGHT NOW!
Visible red blood in the stool indicates she is bleeding, and that's not normal.
I agree with the other commenters. You should have already taken your dog to see a vet as soon as you saw blood in it's stool. This is an emergency whether it occurs in a human or our pets. I hope you have already taken you furry loved one to the vet and hope it is feeling better.
