Do facial creams ever expire, and if so, how much "shelf life" would a normal facial cream have?

I usually keep them in a dry and cool place.

Typically...alll cosmetics and creams, lotions, potions etc. have an average shelf life of 6 months after you have OPENED it and have began to use it.
There are however a few exceptions which would be things like...has there been more than one user...does it have active organic. Those are things to consider as well.
One of the best ways to tell if it is time to toss it is....does it have a funky smell...or has the smell of it changed at it seperating....or have a change in color??
Those are just basic could probably shoot out an email to the company and ask them directly though as well.

    Good Luck!

Facial creams do expire and they might not all say so on the container. They do collect an amazing amount of bacteria inside them once they have been exposed to the air. Honestly, I would throw them out if they are older then one year. If they have been opened that is. If they havent been opened they should be fine as who knows how long products sit on shelves before we buy them. Hope this helps some, Lanea

Some brands have an expiration date listed right on the container.  If not, they tend to expire 6 -12 months after being opened.  They need to be kept in a cool dry place so out of the bathroom and closed tightly.
