What is the difference between bikini waxing and...

What is the difference between bikini waxing, brazilian waxing, playboy waxing...?  You probably won't be able to post pictures illustrating that ... :-( ... but perhaps you could "tastefully" describe the differences in words.

I do not know much about those types of waxing, but I can imagine that one difference may be the pain it inflicts.

Bikini waxing is removing the hairs from between the legs and the sides of a bikini or any bathing suit bottom..usually done with a warm wax and strips of fabric.  Brazilian waxing is the same waxing job only called Brazilian.  Playboy waxing is still waxing ,however, using different patterns and styles just like in a regular haircut...it's all about the style of waxing you choose.

Bikini Wax - removes the hair near the edge of the bikini so nothing is peaking out. This one is the easiest to do at home, but a salon is always an option.

Brazilian Wax- removes all of the pubic hair. All of it...naked...gone...outta here. This one is hard to do and usually very painful when doing it at home. Though the cost of having it done in a salon makes it so more and more women are trying it. Once the waxing is done you even have to go through and pluck stray hairs.

Playboy waxing- is very similar to a Brazilian wax, but you leave some pubic hair, usually just above the slit, for a style. You can get them in all sorts of styles including hearts and diamonds. This one is much much harder to do at home because you need a good angle to see what you are doing when leaving some hair behind.

Overall, waxing can be painful and expensive. Trying it at home in the genital region can be even more painful, though not as costly.
