   personally i really don't see what the beauty is in tattoos.
   Yes it might be cool but i wouldn't do it on my body i have a nice body and don't won't it "ruined"
   so i don't like men with tattoos but i think alot of woman do men with an arl full of tattoos look maybe strong and the woman fels that he can protect her i guess..
   i'm not agait i just don't like it.

   It's funny how people without tattoos always ask questions like this.  People who have tattoos don't care that un-tattooed people are that way.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so asking for second opinions seems irrelevant.

   In response to relache [It's funny how people without tattoos always ask questions like this.] I do have tattoos, but my boyfriend and I got into a discussion about this and that's why I asked the question. I have three tattoos and I wanted to get another one, but he said he did not find them as a turn-on. I just wanted to know other people's opinions on this subject because personally I think tattoos on men are attractive, if they are tasteful; and like you said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so who I am to judge what's tasteful or not...I just have my opinion like everyone else!

   I don't know .I think the human skin is perfect just as it is.
   If you think one can't live without tattoos than only small one.
   As for girls only small and gentle one if it is a must.
   Only then to my opinion it could be nice.
   Why destroy something perfect?

   I think that it shouldnt matter whether a person has tattoos or not....if you dont think there attractive because they have tattoos probably wouldnt be attracted to them if they didnt! On the other hand i personaly am not attracted to men with tattoos on there face and there face alone anywhere else doesnt matter!! I dont know i guess when they have tattoos on there face i feel like there trying to hide themselves....but like i said thats just me

   I don't care one way or the other about men's tattoos.  On women, the only would I would like would say "Geezers, come on down" with an appropriate directional arrow.

    I love women with tattoos, its an acquired taste but its definitely something i look for nowadays.
    
    a beautiful tattoo tells me alot about a person, more than you could imagine.

    I happen to love tattoos! I think men with tattoos are very sexy and I married a man with a lot of tattoos! As some one else said though, I don't care if someone doesn't have a tattoo or if someone does. I didn't marry my husband because of his tattoos, I married him because I love him! His tattoos are just an added bonus!

    I think they can be beautiful, on either gender. I think they can look like total CRAP on either gender. If it's terrible work, it is just marring up the body to say "duh look I got a tattoo--real cheap!" Yeah, no kidding.
    I also would say that looking at the type of tattoos someone has can tell you some things about their personality, likes, dislikes, etc. Some people go for total shock value and have a lot of vulgarity, hey, we are all different, some are actually quite disgusting--to non-like-minded individuals.
    Someone said the other day how their parents are totally against it because it's destroying the temple(body) I prefer to look at it as decorating my temple. I wear all black, so to avoid the pasty white girl look, I have color.... lots of beautiful, vibrant color. Makes me feel good about myself. I'm a professional musician, and people take pictures of me all the time, so instead of them getting pictures of short sleeves with my huge beefy arms, they see my colorful, beautiful tattoos. My boyfriend loves them!

    I'm personally not into tattoos, but I do admire people who undergo and brave such a painful procedure! There are some tattoos that are interesting, but I wouldn't get one for any amount or reason.  Of course, this is just my opinion:-).  Although I've known and am related to some who have gotten "tattoos," I don't think any less of them.  I think getting tattoos is entirely up to the person and if someone cares about you, it should not matter to them whether you have tattoos or not.  Tattoos can also tell other people what you are about, and if someone is attracted to you, they will find it interesting.  Hope this helps!:-)

    I don't mind a guy with one tattoo on his shoulder or on his arm, but what I don't like is when a guy has a collection of designs all over his entire body. To be honest, I would prefer if he didn't have any tattoos, but I understand that in this day & age many guys are getting tattoos. I like guys who are toned & with muscle & with a nice sculpted back and toned shoulders. LOL I like a tattoo on the shoulder, but nothing too crazy! lol.
